SHOPPING

Retail therapy awaits any shopper on the Alabama Gulf Coast as the area showcases a wide range of boutiques, shops and large retailers.

One-of-a-Kind

In addition to the large retail complexes, the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach area is filled with charming one-of-a-kind shops ranging from upscale beachside boutiques to unique specialty shops. Scattered throughout Pleasure Island, these stores are a shopper’s paradise.

Center of it All

On the east end of Pleasure Island, guests in Orange Beach can browse San Roc Cay, which offers several retail stores, a handful of restaurants and a break-taking marina. For more information, visit www.sanroccay.com.

Also in Orange Beach is the one of the area’s newest and largest lifestyle centers – The Wharf. This 225 acre multi-use development showcases numerous stores, more than 15 restaurants, a marina and a 10,000-seat outdoor amphitheater that continuously hosts music’s biggest names. Guests staying on property have the opportunity to lounge at The Oasis, a luxurious waterpark, golf on the 18-hole championship course or fish aboard one the inshore charter boats with Orvis-endorsed guides. Neighboring Gulf Shores also has several lifestyle centers, such a Bayou Village. This charming location on Little Lagoon showcases several unique boutiques and is the home of the Original Oyster House.
